eCoupled™ wireless power technology transmits electricity through the components inside the unit to light the UV lamp without direct-contact electrical connectors. This wireless power makes the unit’s performance highly-efficient and reliable.

Smart Chip

The LED display uses simple icons and audio cues to tell you the system is functioning properly. The monitor also alerts you when it's time to change the eSpring cartridge (once a year / 5,000 litres whichever comes first).

Water is forced through pressed activated carbon filter and exposed to ultraviolet light to destroy waterborne microorganisms.


Advantages

  • Effectively removes potential contaminants, including pesticides, industrial chemicals, organic and inorganic compounds.
  • UV light destroys more than 99.99% of bacteria and viruses.

Disadvantages

  • Higher initial cost than many other alternatives. However, long life and low maintenance cost reduce the overall cost of treated water.
VS

Water is boiled for 5 minutes to kill potentially hazardous waterborne microorganisms.


Advantages

  • Reduces bacteria, viruses and cysts - if water is boiled for a minimum of 20 minutes.

Disadvantages

  • Does not reduce particulates or many inorganic and organic compounds.
  • Will not improve water taste, colour or odour.
  • Very inconvenient and time consuming.

Advantages
