We know that building an AMWAY
business is not easy and there certainly
are no shortcuts to building a balanced,
sustainable business. But over the
years, one thing we have noticed is that
habits matter. You become what you do
repeatedly.

That’s why we’ve built a practical model for developing successful ABOs.
We interviewed 500 Business Owners on four continents – at all stages of the
business – to learn what works best. We also talked to experts in the fields of
sales, leadership and personal development.
The end result is AMWAY’s “8 Habits of Successful Business Owners”. We just
wrapped up sharing this list on Twitter and we hope it will serve as a roadmap as
we work together to build balanced and sustainable AMWAY businesses.

1. Know the Business. It sounds straightforward, but the most successful
ABOs can accurately explain our products, our industry and what separates
AMWAY from others.
2. Consult Effectively. Establish a personal connection with your customers.
Identify their primary needs and think about the products that fit into their lives.
Be solution-oriented.
3. Communicate Effectively. Once you’ve built rapport, you have to
communicate the products and business in a clear way. Be creative and
engaging as you present AMWAY to others.
4. Plan for Results. We have great business management tools for ABOs to
forecast, set goals and adjust course using data and metrics. Look for trends
and think ahead.
5. Drive to Achieve. AMWAY rewards achievement – it’s one of our six values.
Demonstrate a commitment to setting and pursuing challenging, tangible
goals.
6. Learn Continuously. It’s important to actively learn and evolve. AMWAY has
made training easy with on-demand videos and lessons you can watch from
anywhere on any device.
7. Demonstrate Leadership. We can never have enough leaders. Encourage
friendship, trust and partnership. Hold others accountable. Strive each day to AMWAY CENTRAL MALAYSIA

8. Help Others Grow. To grow our business, we must work together to develop
young talent. Always think of your downlines and how to mentor our young
entrepreneurs. They are the future.
